Dear Friend,

Re: THE BELFAST ROYAL ACADEMY, OLD BOYS’ ASSOCIATION

I would like to introduce you to The Belfast Royal Academy Old Boys’ Association. The Association was first founded in 1931 and has grown from strength to strength over the past 75 years. The Association currently enjoys a membership that is well over 1000.

The aim of the Association is to maintain links and develop existing relationships between fellow old boys, staff and governors, both in an academic and social sense. In an attempt to achieve these aims the Association is responsible for annually organising numerous sporting events including:

· The annual cricket match between the Old Boys’ and the first XI Cricket Team

· Annual Golf outings in June and September respectively

And also are responsible for organising the much anticipated annual Dinner held in November. This dinner is often a popular diary event along with the annual table Quiz held in February.

Money raised by the Old Boys’ Association is filtered back into the school to help with many projects including the refurbishment of the Library, School Orchestra and Sporting tours.

The Association is now looking to increase its membership and is calling on all Old Boys’ to sign up. A small membership fee of £20 is required to become a lifelong member of the Association. To join please print the membership form below which should be completed and returned along with the £20 membership fee to:
